online multimedia tools,
SmartBoard sites, Google tools, YouTube, TeacherTube,
and other Internet tools for educators and how to use them in classrooms.

3. Go to Wikipedia - an encyclopedia anyone can edit Type in an education topic and preview some sites in Wikipedia |

to preview how they are being used in schools. |

for teachers. Sign up for a Wiki account and create a Wiki for your class. |

1. Go to Blogs in Plain English. Click on Play and preview the video on blogging. |

2. Watch a video on blogging at Internet Resources Online Workshop. |
| 3. Go to Mr. C's Class Blog and view how he uses a blog in his classroom. He uses BlogSpot. |
| 4. Go to Blogger and click on Take a Quick Tour. |
| 5. Go to EduBlog and watch the video tutorial. |
| 6. Set up a blog for your class using either Blogger or EduBlog. |
| 7. E-mail me the Internet address for your blog. |

Click on the Introduction video to preview it.

6. Go to Teen Second Life. Click on What is it?, Pricing, Features, and Virtual Land to learn about the site. |

8. Go to Club Penguin. Click on each of the penguins to complete an activity. |

ONLINE MULTI MEDIA TOOLS
| 1. Go to Online MultiMedia Tools and preview the sites. |
| 2. Choose three tools and create a project for each. i.e., Photo Story 3, Brochure Maker, etc. |
| 3. E-mail me the description of the three projects you created and what multimedia tools you plan to use in your classroom. |
SMARTBOARD SITES
| 1. Go to SmartBoard Workshop and complete the activities. |
| 2. Create a Portaportal and enter ten web sites that you can use with a SmartBoard. |
| 3. E-mail the address of your PortaPortal. |
GOOGLE TOOLS
| 1. Go to About Google Book Search and read about the five things it can do for you. |
| 2. Go to Google Books and explore two of three books. |
| 3. Go to Google Docs. Click on and view the video "Google Docs in Plain English." |
| 4. On the Google Docs page click on Take a Tour and New Features to learn more about Google Documents. |
| 5. Go to More Google Products and explore what Google has to offer you. |
| 6. E-mail me the name of a Google Tool that you found useful. |
