As part of the requirements for the national and
state accreditation systems, the FSOE has adopted dispositional and
writing rubrics that evaluate “studenting” and
writing skills. Studenting skills include attendance,
attitude/advocacy, collaboration, content, fairness, feedback,
relationships, and reliability. Writing skills and
the ability to get along with others are essential to the development of
a professional educator. Students will be evaluated twice
during the semester based on the rubrics included within the FSOE
website and education syllabi. If a student receives
a score of one on any rubric element at midterm, the student will meet
with his/her instructor and advisor to develop an improvement plan.
If a score of one is received at the end of the semester on any
rubric element, the student will meet with the area chair to discuss
additional support options. |
